Current Vacancies Available:

 

Clean Room Operators (Day and Twilight Shift)

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Minimum of 1 year working in a related manufacturing environment.
  • Four grade C or above GCSEs (or recognised equivalent).
  • College qualifications such as BTEC or A-Levels, in engineering or science subjects, preferable. 

IPC2 Production Operative

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Experience in PCB production processes.
  • Some hand soldering experience.
  • IPC-A-610 class 2 standard certificated would be advantageous.
  • Use of fine tools and microscopes would be advantageous. 

Stores Person

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English and Maths.
  • MRP systems and computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience of working in Stores within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of batch control. 

Maintenance Technician

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years hands on experience in an equipment and plant maintenance role
  • Practical hands-on skills
  • Mechanically minded 

Production Manager

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Formal education to HNC level or equivalent in electronics/engineering
  • Direct experience in PCB/electronics manufacturing
  • Demonstrable success in management in a production environment
  • Experience of performing in busy and rapidly changing arena 

Graduate Manufacturing Engineer (Microelectronics)

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • A degree qualification (minimum of 2:1) in a relevant scientific discipline such as manufacturing/engineering, materials science, physics or chemistry.
  • A completed university module or other course on electrical/electronic engineering would be an advantage. 

Assistant Quality Engineer / Quality Administrator

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • IPC qualifications
  • A minimum of a Level 3, or equivalent, qualification, ideally in electronics engineering or similar
  • Prepared to hold a CQI or another recognised qualification in quality management
  • Prepared to undertake any other training/education identified by the company for career progression
  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment, ideally within the electronics manufacturing sector 

Quality Inspector (Goods In)

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment, ideally within the electronics manufacturing sector
  • Experience of reading and understanding detailed mechanical drawings
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • MRP/ERP system experience desirable
  • A minimum of a Level 3, or equivalent, qualification, ideally in electronics engineering or similar 

Engineering Manager (Automotive)

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ electro-mechanical engineering experience, ideally within the automotive industry and at least 2 years’ experience managing and developing technical personnel.
  • Qualified to Degree level as a minimum in mechanical, electrical or production engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of creating 3D solid models and detailing 2D drawings (Solidworks preferred).
  • Experienced in the use of D/PFMEA practices including defining and applying CC and SCs.
  • Knowledge, experience and use of advanced measurement and analysis methods including C-SAM, X-Ray, Digital Microscopy, Laser Scanning etc.
  • Demonstrable use of problems solving and improvement techniques (DMAIC, 5W, Ishikawa).
  • Knowledge and experience of the automotive APQP process steps required.
  • Strong experience of planning and prioritising workloads, including identifying critical paths. 

Senior Mechanical Engineer (Solidworks)

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Qualified to Degree level as a minimum in mechanical, electrical or production engineering.
  • Advanced Solidworks skills and knowledge. 

Mechanical Engineers (Automotive)

Technical knowledge/qualifications needed:

  • Demonstrable experience in the automotive industry with a strong product and process development bias.
  • HND or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or production engineering (a degree in an engineering discipline is preferred).
  • Experience in the use of Design of Experiment (DoE) practice.
  • Knowledge of D/PFMEA practices including defining and applying CC and SCs.
  • Demonstrable use of problem solving and improvement techniques.
  • Experience in the assembly techniques of bare die onto AMB / DBC Substrates and pressure/pressureless silver sintering technologies, advantageous.
