New Product Introduction (Product Lifecycle Management)

NPI is a cornerstone process at CIL, where all product data and selected processes are verified as being suitable and appropriate to ensure the ongoing product conformance and reliability. The NPI process is far reaching and is centred upon 

CIL though close co-operation of its Engineering and Quality teams manages its Customers’ products through their entire manufacturing lifecycle. Quality and mistake-proofing are built in from first-off studies through to serial manufacture. CIL employs an NPI process incorporating best practices adopted from all our mission critical industries such as Aerospace, Oil and Gas Medical, Telecommunication, and Industrial manufacturing sectors.

Following risk and planning reviews new products enter formal staged gate controls, including a step by step Production and Quality engineering approval, prior to any subsequent production release. We have many practical tools and resources at our disposal, such as X-Ray, AOI and Flying Probe Testing to verify build standards and Process Control.
