Electronics Manufacturing
CIL has a total of 8 off SMT lines and associated equipment and processes. They comprise of 1 off line dedicated for prototyping, 3 off lines for small-medium volumes and 4 off lines for volume production, with a 9th line arriving in October 2026. Combined they are currently placing over 1,000,000 SMT components per day and they are housed across two facilities in Hampshire.
CIL House, award winning Electronics Manufacturing facility, comprising of a dedicated RAPID prototype SMT line and 3 off small to medium volume Surface Mount (SMT) lines, Conventional Thru hole Assembly, Inspection & Test.
BP2 facility houses the UK's largest Semiconductor OSAT packaging facility and 4 off volume SMT lines, Inspection & Test.
This gives CIL a total of 8 off SMT lines, all placing 0201's, BGA, LGA, and WLCSP devices on a daily basis
All of CIL's production is located in Andover, Hampshire, our 230 staff currently occupy two modern facilities providing in excess of 100,000 square feet of fully equipped Electronics Manufacturing with some of the most advanced equipment and resources available. A total of 8 SMT lines placing down to 01005 and all current IC package styles including BGA, LGA, QFN & WLCSP and associated inspection and test equipment including multiple 3D AOI, Flying probe test and digital X-Ray, CT Scan, CSAM and CMM all in house. Also we have lead-free and Leaded selective soldering machines, CNC and Laser de-panel systems.

Our Quality Management System arrangement, covering all of our Manufacturing sites, is accredited to ISO9001:2015, AS9100 Rev D for Aerospace & Defence and ISO 13485:2016 for the manufacture of Medical Devices and assures our clients that we can provide a complete, quality assured manufacturing service, which is backed up by our 40 year proven track record across almost every Industry Sector possible.
