Military Reflex Sight
Our Customer is a world renowned manufacturer of reflex sights used in the military and law enforcement sectors around the world. The Customer approached Custom Interconnect Limited in order to improve and simplify their production process without compromising quality and reliability of the product, but taking opportunity to add some additional user features and functions.
Through a number of design forums and brain storming sessions we developed a number of potential changes to the product which aligned with the Customers expected launch and roll-out. The work involved a number of CIL Supply Chain partners and a good deal of trials within the CIL Engineering and Advanced Technology Team. Following some field trials and feedback from user groups, changes were made to the Designs and Production Readiness became fully defined.
The resulting reflex sight can be end of line configured by Custom Interconnects Customer, configuration to end customer requirements and this makes the whole production process and the assembly of the reflex sights a much easier process to plan and align the materials for a JIT scenario, a much more cost effective solution, and a reflex sight which exceeds the previous version in performance and reliability.
